The design of this classroom was inspired by nature. Our
goal was to connect students and teachers to the outside environment by
creating a calm learning space with tranquil colors inspired by the outside’s
natural surroundings. To create a stimulating and modern environment, we
provided the space with bold furnishings, presentation televisions, and an
engaging layout that would support active learning strategies. Our design
includes an open, welcoming area, as well as small, private areas to
accommodate all learning experiences, tasks, and projects. This was a project
completed by collaborating with fellow students, Christina Evans and Madeline
Meier.
